Coming soon to Google Play
SportListen is a sports news app from TDSignal LLC. It is not on Google Play yet. The Android package name is com.sportlisten.sportlisten.
What you can do
- Listen to sports headlines.
- Read or hear a short AI summary called a Quick Take.
- Use the free version, which includes ads.
- Subscribe to SportListen Premium for $4.99 a month. Premium removes ads and includes unlimited Quick Takes.
Listening
Spoken headlines and Quick Takes use your phone’s own text-to-speech. The audio is created on the device.
Quick Takes
A Quick Take is a short summary of an article. The app sends the article text to the Google Gemini API, which writes the summary. A Quick Take can miss context or get a fact wrong. Read the original story before you rely on one.
The free version is not described as unlimited. SportListen Premium includes unlimited Quick Takes. We are not listing a free-version count here, because that number is not fixed in this page.
Ads and Premium
The free version shows ads through Google AdMob. SportListen Premium is $4.99 per month, removes those ads, and includes unlimited Quick Takes. Google Play may add tax or show a price in your currency. You confirm the price in Google Play before you subscribe, and you can cancel there.
You do not need an account to use SportListen.
